A psychologist talks about the happy secret to better work. He thinks one of the most important things that we should teach people is changing something negative to positive. It is not important that reality shapes our brain views. If we can change the lens, not only we can change happiness but also we can change every educational and business outcome.
Our happiness is predicted by our external world. If I know everything about you,  I can only predict 10% of your happiness, but by the way your brain processes the world ,I can predict 90% of your happiness. If we change it, for happiness and success, we can change the way we can then affect reality.
In fact most of your job successes are predicted by your optimism levels. There are several ways to make your brain more positive: exercise, meditation, journaling, and random acts of kindness. For example, by meditation you can try to do multiple tasks, or we can write one positive email daily for practicing on random acts of kindness.
In my opinion if we change our glasses to look at the world in positive, we can achieve even our long-term happiness.

  1. I think like you. All depends on how you want to see the life. Almost all is subjective. At least be optimist is more funny :-).

  2. You are right. Optimism is very important because it can impact on our success. However, thinking on optimism way is not easy for people, right?
