A good year is known by its spring.

In Iranian culture we have a proverb the same as "A good year is known by its spring" and it is very famous in Iran.
Iranianʼs new year exactly is the first day of spring and we believe that if we begin the first day of the new year with good whishes feeling and love each other the rest of the year will be good and it improve all days of the year.
I have an experience that match this proverbs.
Last year in the first month of spring my niece was born and my family had a great time when they heard this news after that we had wonderful events and news in whole family.

  4. Sayeh, I would love to experience the spring new year in Iran! When I was in Northern Iraq, the Kurdish people there told me a lot about their celebration. However, I was there in the summer, so I couldn't see it. They call it "Nowruz." I believe the name is similar in Iran.
